Gateway Ticketing Systems’ latest software release, Galaxy 4, received Honorable Mention for Best New Product at the 2008 IAAPA Expo held in Orlando, FL in November.

Gateway has won a number of awards over the years at IAAPA, and this year we’re proud to show Galaxy 4. It’s the platform for the future, upon which we intend to keep building features to benefit the attractions industry.”

The newly released Galaxy 4 is the culmination of several years of new product development. The work involved in this project included interviews with current and potential customers in order to help define the features that would benefit the largest number of users. The result is a product that benefits not just a few customers, but the entire customer base, spanning multiple industries.

The main highlights of Galaxy 4 include functionality specifically designed to help Gateway’s customers keep their guests happy. A focus on guest convenience through simplified, automated ticketing management enhances customer service, which keeps guests coming back.

With Galaxy 4 Gateway customers can create and sell pre-defined combination tickets, which group two or more events or items together on a single ticket. They can also add attributes to uniquely identify specific details about events and resources. Another feature is aimed at helping customers manage group sales more efficiently by defining and enforcing venue and category limits when booking events for groups.

Gateway is very pleased to have been chosen by IAAPA to receive this prestigious award.
