Boyertown, PA - (July 2004) After having added to their staff during the first and second quarters of this year, Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc. of Boyertown PA announces another round of advancements and new hires.
Gateway Ticketing Systems’ staff now numbers over 60 employees worldwide. Gateway Ticketing Systems maintains offices in Boyertown PA., Tampa FL., Nashville TN., Calgary Canada and Paris France.
First in this round of advancements at Gateway Ticketing is Rob Martin. After holding the title of Quality Assurance Analyst II at Gateway Ticketing Systems for 4 years, Rob Martin was promoted to Quality Assurance Technical Lead in June of this year. Martin has also received his Certified Software Quality Engineer certification. A Certified Software Quality Engineer is a professional who has comprehensive understanding of software quality development and implementation, a thorough understanding of software inspection, testing, verification, and validation, and can implement software development and maintenance processes and methods.
Scott Trievel, Quality Assurance Manager at Gateway Ticketing said, “Rob has been a valued asset to the company over the past 9 years. Receiving his certification as a software quality engineer will further strengthen Gateway Ticketing’s long standing commitment to developing and maintaining a superior product.”
Joining the ranks at Gateway Ticketing as a Senior Technical Writer is Jim Osborn. Osborn was previously employed by Liquent and is a graduate of Albright College with degrees in both marketing and English.
More recent additions at Gateway Ticketing Systems include Jason Harding and Mitch Schueck. Harding and Schueck have both joined the programming team and fill two newly created positions. Harding is a recent graduate of Temple University with a degree in Computer Information Science, while Schueck recently graduated Millersville University majoring in Computer Science. In addition Seth Berger, who joins Gateway Ticketing from National Penn Bank, became part of the customer service department as an Account Representative.
Internship is also alive and well at Gateway Ticketing Systems. Assisting as an Information Services intern is Neil Sproul. Sproul is a senior at Penn State Berks Campus, majoring in Information Systems Technology. Ashley Koppenheffer, a junior at Alvernia College – majoring in Human Resources Management, is interning with the Gateway Ticketing Human Resources team. Also learning the ropes at Gateway Ticketing is Kim Hillen, from West Chester University. Hillen is a freshman and is the newest addition to the Gateway Ticketing Technical Writing staff.
