Gateway Ticketing Systems Sets Date For 2005 Users Group Meeting

Boyertown, PA – (August, 2004) Gateway Ticketing Systems announces the 2005 dates for their Users Group Meeting (UGM). During their most recent Users Group Meeting, at the Experience Music Project in Seattle, Washington, Gateway Ticketing Systems announced that the 2005 UGM would be hosted by Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Recently, Gateway Ticketing Customer Service Manager Cheryl Hillen announced the dates for their 2005 UGM as June 1 through June 4, 2005. Hillen said, “This year’s meeting was well received and attended. There were a variety of presentations which were enhanced by the location and our host, Experience Music Project. The added feature at this location was the ability to visit multiple Gateway Ticketing System users. This rounded out the meeting and revealed the flexibility and versatility of our software in the current marketplace”. Hillen finished, “The Hershey Lodge is a wonderful location for our 2005 meeting. The Lodge is geared towards providing a relaxed but professional environment for meetings, seminars – and of course, there is always the park. Hersheypark has been a Gateway Ticketing customer for almost 10 years, and has recently upgraded to our Galaxy 2 product, released earlier this year. I think they are a great choice for our 2005 UGM.”

The annual Users Group Meeting is typically focused towards Gateway Ticketing Systems’ customers, whose primary business is parks and attractions, including theme and water parks, museums, zoos, aquariums and other venues where quality admission control is essential. But for the first time in Gateway history, the Users Group Meeting for 2005 will now incorporate their Transportation users. The transportation customers have always been an important aspect of Gateway’s business. With the incorporation of transportation features into the Galaxy product line, the idea of having a combined meeting makes sense.

During the meeting each year, Gateway Ticketing System customers are provided with the latest information, news, recent development and enhancements in the Galaxy software (Revenue Management and Admission Control), Gateway Ticketing Systems’ flagship product.

Content, agenda and registration details for the Gateway Ticketing Systems 2005 UGM will be distributed directly to their customers prior to the event next year. This information will also be viewable on their web site, www.gatewayticketing.com as details and ideas are completed.
