Gateway Ticketing Systems has announced the release of Galaxy™ 3, the latest version of their revenue management and admission control ticketing product. Globally museums, zoos, amusement parks, attractions, and transportation customers are making the move to Galaxy 3. Packed with enhancements, Galaxy 3 provides customer convenience through expanded sales channels, integrated security features, and streamlined operations. Scott Trievel, Gateway Ticketing Systems’ Product Development Manager says, “We are excited to introduce Galaxy 3. Many hours have been devoted designing, testing, and implementing these new features to ensure that they work to our customers’ demanding standards. We are positive this product will not only meet new and existing customer needs, but that it will also exceed their expectations!”
Galaxy 3 provides many options to enhance guest purchasing through kiosks, online Web stores, and mobile tablet PCs. Galaxy 3 Kiosk establishes remote presence and convenient purchasing through self-service ticketing and will-call order pickup. For guests who would rather avoid lines altogether, PrintAtHome ticketing is the latest development offered with eGalaxy Web Store. Galaxy 3 users can also send ticket sellers into ticket-sale lines to sell and activate pre-printed tickets on a mobile tablet PC.
Additional Galaxy 3 functions are designed to streamline guest services. Ticket sellers can quickly upgrade tickets to passes using the new Upgrade Ticket function. Returns or reprinting misplaced tickets is efficient through Ticket Lookup at a point of sale station. The enhanced Ticket Lookup function enables quick resolution and tracking of customer complaints. In addition, guests can now sign for credit card transactions with electronic signature capture or purchase tickets with a Galaxy 3 Debit driven gift card – providing greater purchasing power and revenue management.
In response to increased safety concerns, Galaxy 3 provides enhanced transaction auditing and security features. Drawer-triggered transaction locking prevents ticket sellers from selling additional tickets with an open cash drawer. Galaxy 3 Order Entry, Manager’s Workstation, and eGalaxy are extensively audited to track changes made to orders, customers, and customer contacts. Encryption and masking options have been increased to protect sensitive information such as customer credit account details and credit card numbers. Management can feel secure knowing their data is protected in Galaxy 3.
