Gilbertsville, PA (September 14, 2017) – Gateway is excited to announce that we’ve been named one of the top 100 Best Places to Work in PA for 2017. This is our fifth time receiving the award, which was designed to identify, recognize and honor outstanding Pennsylvania employers who are benefiting the State’s economy and its workforce. Final rankings will be revealed at a ceremony in November at the Best Places to Work in PA awards banquet in Lancaster, Pa.
“We are proud to receive this recognition, especially because it’s determined primarily through employee feedback,” says President and CEO Michael Andre. “Gateway’s leadership team strives to build a company culture focused on employee well-being and job satisfaction.
“Employee experience was an important consideration as we planned our new global headquarters in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, completed in 2015,” Andre says. “The building was designed to foster an uplifting work environment, incorporating technological amenities with open workspace areas offering natural light and great views of the local countryside. We also have a growing number of remote employees.
“There is a strong pool of exceptional talent within driving distance, and it’s important to our customers that we welcome talented potential employees wherever we find them,” he says.
In addition to its Gilbertsville headquarters, Gateway offices include Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and a newly expanded office in central London.
Andre highlighted several of Gateway’s latest projects, which keep team members engaged and challenged while delivering powerful solutions for Gateway’s customers.
In addition to its Galaxy solution suite for ticketing and point-of-sale, Gateway has recently released a series of new products including:
Gateway joins 99 other companies from across the state who entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in PA. In the first part, nominated companies are evaluated based on workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics. The second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
To be considered for participation, companies must be a for-profit or not-for-profit business with a facility in Pennsylvania, have at least 15 employees working in Pennsylvania, and have been in business a minimum of one year.
