Second Annual International Women’s Day Webinar for the Attractions Industry Being Held by Gateway Ticketing Systems and WhiteWater
Gilbertsville, PA (February 28, 2022) – Gateway Ticketing Systems® and WhiteWater® are teaming up to deliver a special webinar in honor of International Women’s Day 2022: #BreakTheBias – How to Forge a Gender Equal Workplace. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, March 9 at 12 PM EST.
“We want to amplify discussions around how people can support and be allies for women in the workplace,” says Alicia Huppman, Senior Manager of Human Resources at Gateway Ticketing Systems. “These important conversations around addressing our overt and underlying biases need to happen more regularly and need to be featured more prominently in our industry.”

Gateway and WhiteWater worked together to bring industry leaders to the table to discuss the important topics impacting the attractions industry today. They’ll be discussing addressing hiring bias, implementing bias training and increasing access to employment opportunities in order to create a diverse, equitable and inclusive attractions industry workplace where difference is valued and celebrated. The panelists will share their personal experiences and give practical recommendations and advice to women and their allies about navigating a path in the world of careers, life and family.
Once again, the session will be moderated by Una de Boer, Chief Marketing Officer at WhiteWater, the leading global designer & manufacturer of award-winning attractions from water slides to water rides. Panelists will include: Adrea Gibbs, Senior Director, Core Services, Attractions Operations at Meow Wolf; Leena Devlin, Manager, Product Deployment at Gateway Ticketing Systems; Michael Jungen: Global Vice President, CX Solutions Technology at Aristocrat Technologies Inc.; Sharon Parker, Director of Marketing & Sales at Six Flags Over Texas/Hurricane Harbor.
