Gilbertsville, PA (February 1, 2016) – One of Gateway Ticketing Systems Business Solutions Architects, Charlie Broschart, has been invited to serve on the 2016 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Global Manufacturers and Suppliers Committee.
For the past 15 years, Broschart has been working with customers worldwide in the leisure, cultural and transportation industries to provide Gateway’s Galaxy® Product Suite for ticketing, access control and revenue generation. Previously, Broschart worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando as a food and beverage manager.
“Charlie is an industry veteran who has traveled the globe to support our customers and the industries in which they operate,” says Michael Andre, Gateway’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “I’m pleased to see his value to the attraction community recognized by IAAPA in his appointment to the Manufacturers and Suppliers Committee. They have gained a valuable asset and will benefit from his knowledge and experience.”
IAAPA represents more than 4,800 facility, supplier and individual members from more than 90 countries including professionals from amusement parks, theme parks, attractions, family entertainment centers, museums and science centers, water parks and resorts, zoos and aquariums, and industry manufacturers and suppliers.
According to the IAAPA website, the Manufacturers and Suppliers Committee is charged with developing programs “to provide services to and recruit manufacturing and supplier members. The committee oversees the work of the Space Allocation Subcommittee which works to assign exhibit space locations to exhibitors for IAAPA Attractions Expo.”
