From the industry's best ticketing system to unified food & beverage and retail operations, Gateway offers world-class solutions to increase revenue.
On April 15, experts from Gateway, a panel of Gateway customers and over 470 industry professionals came together to discuss reopening strategies in a post-COVID world including the inevitability of transitioning to a capacity managed attraction.
We’ve seen attractions reopening in other parts of the world on a limited basis with a focus on safety and flexibility, and in a capacity managed manner: only a certain amount of guests are allowed in at any given time, with strict entry regulations. So we started to develop the story of what a visit to your venue or attraction will now look like, and how you can potentially limit the number of guests at your gate, in your venue, and at particular rides or exhibits. We covered the capacity metrics you could be measuring and the software/hardware that can help. We talked about how to facilitate the appropriate flow of guests in your venue. And we walked through some of the tools within Galaxy that will help you transition your attraction to a capacity managed attraction.
Our panelists gave real-life examples of what they are currently doing, or considering doing, at their attractions to limit the number of guests in-venue at any given time. The panel included: Eddie Jones, Desktop Support Specialist at the Atlanta Botanical Garden; and Luis Almonte, Senior Director of IT, Systems Architect at Discovery Science Foundation. We recorded the webinar and you can watch it below.
