Gilbertsville, Pa. (May 22, 2017) – Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc., will be exhibiting at this year’s U.S. Travel Association IPW, the travel industry’s premier international marketplace and the largest generator of travel to the U.S. The event is June 3-7, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
At Booth #1056, Gateway will be showcasing Galaxy Connect™, a technology platform that connects attractions with distributors and online travel agencies to enable the selling of mobile gate-ready tickets through real-time integration. Galaxy Connect is an innovative solution that simplifies the integration of attractions and online travel agencies, saving money and valuable IT resource time.
“Coming off the ITB China show in Shanghai, I was able to see firsthand that now’s the time for attractions to grow their distribution networks worldwide,” says Scott Lobaugh, Gateway’s Director of Business Development. “We’ve already received a tremendous amount of interest from both the supplier base and distributors to meet at the show and look forward to growing these connections.”
According to the IPW website: “More than 1,000 U.S. travel organizations from every region of the USA (representing all industry category components), and more than 1,300 international and domestic buyers from more than 70 countries conduct business negotiations that result in the generation of more than $4.7 billion in future Visit USA travel. At IPW, buyers and sellers are able to conduct business that would otherwise be generated only through an exhaustive number of around-the-world trips.”
