Gateway Ticketing Systems’ Galaxy Connect Platform Wins Park World Excellence Award
Gilbertsville, PA (Thursday, September 19, 2019) – Gateway Ticketing Systems® and their Galaxy ConnectTM platform has won the 2019 Park World Excellence Award for “Best Ticketing 
and Access Control Product”.
Launched in 2018 by Datateam Business Media in association with Park World magazine, the Park World Excellence Awards honors the attractions industry’s premier talents and recognizes exceptional operators, suppliers, manufacturers and entertainment specialists from Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The Best Ticketing and Access Control Product awards the company with the best new product designed to help operators manage and streamline their access control process. Gateway and their Galaxy Connect platform was one of only five finalists in the running for the award.
Galaxy Connect makes it possible for any venue to sell their live inventory tickets through over 44 online travel agencies, and counting, through a single integration rather than having to implement custom integrations for each relationship. This allows their guests to directly purchase their tickets instead of buying a voucher that needs to be exchanged for a ticket. Additionally, Galaxy Connect makes it possible for smaller parks with limited budgets to have the same access to online travel agencies that traditionally was only reserved for the larger parks.
