January 2, 2024 | Company News
Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc., a global leader in attraction ticketing and online booking solutions, has released its latest system upgrade to its premier ticketing system. Galaxy 7.8.15 is now available to download and install.
Galaxy 7.8.15 has several new features and updates to help users increase sales and manage their business operations.
“We remain committed to improving our ticketing platform to enhance the guest experience and improve the ease of execution for the user,” said Tom Chiarella, Executive Vice President and Head of Product for Gateway Ticketing Systems. “Our recent ticketing system upgrade reflects our commitment to delivering an unparalleled user experience. We’ve made strides to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and elevate your ticketing journey.”
Here are some of the benefits of upgrading to Galaxy version 7.8.15:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud solution— Sites can now take advantage of the power of your Salesforce solution with the rich data collected about orders, annual passes and memberships (including usage), and guest contact information in Galaxy.
- Self-service options to adjust or cancel orders— This latest upgrade to the eGalaxy Web Store allows guests to sign into the same self-service portal used to change their visit dates and, if allowed, cancel their order completely.
- Go City® Direct Connect— Guests with Go City passes can now go directly to the admission point without stopping at the box office. Sites that accept Go City passes can now directly verify the Go City pass at the time of usage without the need to front-load all potential Go City passes and export usage on the back end.
- Improved gift ticket workflows— Sites that use dated or timed tickets can now sell tickets designated specifically as gifts while still benefitting from timed ticketing planning and crowd control features without resorting to generalized, denomination-based stored value cards. Upon receipt of the gift tickets, the recipient selects their own visit time online. This way, the planning and crowd control benefits of dated or timed tickets can be enjoyed while offering the flexibility of gift tickets.
- Digital ticket delivery— Delivery options have expanded to include on-site sales at Galaxy Point of Sale, in addition to the eGalaxy Web Store, via email or SMS. On-site or online, give your guests the most convenient option for them. You bring the Twilio account, and we’ll bring the tickets.
- Attribute-based pricing model— Attribute-based pricing is the next leap in the available pricing models in Galaxy, allowing you to set base-level prices and then influence that price using attributes of the selected product and defined rules on how those attributes should move the price point.
- ID.me integration— Integrating ID.me with the eGalaxy Web Store allows sites to continue offering exclusive products to key guests, such as military, first responders, and educators, by validating their identity in the online sales process instead of requiring them to buy on-site so they can show their credentials.
- Plus, User interface improvements to make managing eGalaxy Web Store and Galaxy Connect sales channels easier and much more.
