Gateway Ticketing Systems® Offers A Variety Of Learning Opportunities To Ensure Customers Are Poised For A Successful 2025 Season
January 24, 2025 | Company News
Gateway Ticketing Systems®, the world leader in ticketing, admission control, and revenue-generating solutions within the attractions industry for over 35 years, has announced a variety of learning opportunities for customers to either train, enhance, or broaden their knowledge of the various products and efficient ways to utilize them.
Gateway customers now have four ways to learn and ensure they are getting the maximum use of their system.
- Self-Paced Learning Subscription:
The Self-Paced Learning Subscription offers up to 25 members of an organization access to interactive eLearning courses on the Gateway Learning Portal for one year. These courses cover essential topics like Galaxy configuration, end-user training, and advanced functionality, featuring real-world scenarios and hands-on exercises. This subscription allows learners to customize their training to fit their needs and schedules while managers can track progress. With access to the latest course content, organizations can effectively budget for annual training and ensure their teams stay proficient in Galaxy and other Gateway products.
- Custom Instructor-Led Training:
This training program is tailored to each customer’s needs. After a needs analysis assessment, Gateway instructors design a training plan that may include on-site visits, remote sessions, and suggested self-paced courses. Using Galaxy practice environments with the customer’s data, these sessions are ideal for training new system administrators, onboarding teams, or preparing for upgrades. With a focus on flexibility and personal attention, this option maximizes the learning experience. Requests should be made 90 days in advance to ensure availability.
- Self-Paced eLearning Practicum for Galaxy®:
This hands-on program enhances learning through practical experience and self-assessment. Participants access 14 foundational courses and a virtual environment to safely apply their skills without affecting live operations. The practicum features exercises and a self-evaluation tool to measure comprehension and identify improvement areas, empowering users to build confidence in Galaxy functionality for real-world applications.
- Fundamentals Training for Galaxy®:
This classroom-based course is designed for system administrators to build a strong foundation in Galaxy’s features and best practices. Participants will engage in hands-on practice in a virtual environment, receive personalized instruction, and network with peers and Gateway personnel. Daily quizzes and practice scenarios reinforce learning, equipping attendees with the knowledge and confidence to manage the Galaxy System effectively.
“At Gateway Ticketing Systems, we are committed to empowering our customers with the knowledge and skills needed to maximize the potential of their Galaxy solutions,” said Michael Andre, President and CEO of Gateway Ticketing Systems. “Our comprehensive training offerings—from the customizable flexibility of the Self-Paced Learning Subscription and Custom Instructor-Led Training to the practical, hands-on experience of the Self-Paced eLearning Practicum and Fundamentals Training—ensure users gain both confidence and competence in Galaxy’s functionality.
