Footprints from the Heart 5K Run/1-Mile Walk at Give Kids the World Village

Gateway’s involvement with IAAPA Expo 2019 goes well beyond their Platinum Sponsorship, showbook bookmark sponsorship, and spotlight session.

The organization will once again participate in the 13th Annual IAAPA Footprints from the Heart 5K Run/1-Mile Walk benefiting Give Kids the World Village. Give Kids the World Village is a storybook village resort in Kissimmee where children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to week-long, cost-free vacations. This is a cause that is near and dear to the Gateway family. Last year they were the Top Team Fundraiser, and this year they aim to raise an even greater amount for the cause.

Brass Ring Nomination

Gateway has also been nominated for a Brass Ring Award in the category of ‘Best Employee Engagement Initiative’. The One Gateway Committee is an employee-led committee dedicated to enhancing the organization’s relationship with it’s employees and the community in which they live and work. The committee organizes involvement with local and national service organizations and events like the Autism Speaks Walk or Give Kids the World, and it also organizes fun engagement activities for employees like Wii bowling tournaments, Halloween costume parties, an annual chili cook-off, and coffee and soda taste testing for the kitchen.
